Let’s Get in Electroformation: HAWKHOUSE
Electroformed jewelry is everywhere these days, and we know you might be getting a little sick of it. We’re here, however, to introduce you to a shop that’s going to change your mind: HAWKHOUSE. Their collection of raw crystals and electroformed minerals run the gamut from the traditional necklaces and rings to keychains, ornaments, home decor, and bolo ties. Yes, you read that correctly: bolo ties.
Based out of Martha’s Vineyard, HAWKHOUSE specializes in raw crystal jewelry of all types, from your standard amethyst and quartz to arrowheads, amber, ammonite, kyanite, and even beach pebbles. Basically, any kind of pretty stone, gem, or mineral that strikes your fancy: they’ve got it, and they’ll make something truly beautiful with it.
The HAWKHOUSE team is composed of all women, including the resident office dog, a little pug named Mocha, and is led by owner/maker/designer/curator Jessica Kramer, a self-taught mixed metal artist.
Attention people who like to wear bolo ties: we were not kidding.
Kyanite is widely-accepted as a crystal that doesn’t need to be cleansed as it doesn’t retain negative energy, so it makes a perfect keychain for repelling the energy of people around you while you’re out and about. (If you’re into this kind of thing, of course. If not: ooooh, pretty! Shiny!)
Each piece is handmade to order. And, since no two stones are alike, you can rest assured that your jewelry is completely unique. If you’re not happy, however, they have an excellent return and exchange policy!
Oh, and we nearly forgot to mention: they have a 5 star Etsy rating with over 3,000 reviews. Didn’t think that was possible, honestly.
You can follow HAWKHOUSE on Instagram and Facebook, and buy directly from their Etsy. And, honestly, this is just a tiny sampling of what they have to offer. We highly encourage you to browse the shop and discover all the gorgeous pieces we didn’t cover here!
