The New Dark: Rogue + Wolf
Rogue + Wolf came onto the darkling scene in 2012, with their striking and stylish 3D-printed jewellery. Now, the UK-based brand have expanded their repertoire to include killer clothing and homewares for the modern witch – and we’ve curated a selection of our favourite dark delights.
Velvet is the ultimate in luxurious goth. Velvet with a snake ritual print? Even better. This vegan crushed velvet jumper has an oversized fit, and comes in sizes XS-3XL so you can be comfortable and curse people.
We’re definitely not the only ones still obsessed with mesh sleeves – the 90s, grunge-goth look is a staple in many darklings’ wardrobes. Rogue + Wolf have gone one step further, and given us mesh sleeves – with thumb holes! – under a print of spell-casting hands. There’s also a crescent moon zipper at the back, for the witch who appreciates details. Available in sizes XS-3XL.
Leggings can be totally boring and casual. Or they can feature occult, ritualistic prints that showcase your spooky inclinations. We know which ones we’d rather have. Rogue + Wolf have leggings with a broad selection of designs and fabrics – vegan wet-look leather, cotton, or polyester. Available in sizes XS-3XL.
For those places where winter is still persisting, layering is one of the best ways to stay warm and still rock a great outfit. This cardigan jacket combo features moons and geometric prints, with Rogue + Wolf’s signature crescent moon zipper. The back is slit for extra movement – think billowing capes and dramatic exits. Available in sizes XS-3XL.
This unisex cotton tee comes screen-printed with one of our favourite familiars – a bloodthirsty bat! Sizing up is recommended for a looser, oversized fit, and also means you can layer with long-sleeved tees for colder weather. Available in sizes XS-3XL.
Add some Wednesday Addams vibes to your outfit with these detachable collars – our favourite is the scorpion tail in black (what else), but these collars also come in white, and with a centipede print. A red eye and lip can really make your monochrome wardrobe pop – to master the whole look, check out our makeup tutorials: Lucy Westenra, Rust in Peace, and Blood Bath. Collars available in sizes XS-S and M-L.
Rogue + Wolf’s love of bats rivals even this darkling’s – their latest jewellery collection, Lilith, features ram and unicorn skulls, and this super cute bat head design. The big ears! The upturned nose! The tiny fangs! Most of the collection of rings and necklaces is in their signature black 3D-printed polyamide plastic, but this little beast also comes in a stainless steel option.
No matter what your favourite poison, every ghoul needs a mug to drink from. Rogue + Wolf’s Witch Cauldron mug is a gorgeous matte black porcelain that holds 400ml/14oz of whatever brew you’re having. It’s microwave and dishwasher safe, and comes in a charming illustrated gift box.
Rogue + Wolf have been making these mini faux taxidermy pieces since the brand was founded in 2012, but they’ve remained a firm favourite in darkling homeware for a reason. If your crypt is a little on the small size, or you don’t like the idea of real taxidermy, these 3D-printed pieces are ideal. Options include this majestic stag, fawns, mammoths, and jackalopes.
Stickers are the perfect way to customize your notebooks, laptops, phone cases, walls, or really any flat surface on a budget. This Witch Essentials sticker set features lovely illustrations of all the tools you might need to show the world your magical inclinations.
Maybe it’s time to stop buying bat-themed things. Said no one, ever. This phone case lets you pretend you’ve got an adorable friend hanging from your hands every time you check your Instagram. Made of soft-touch silicone, with access to all ports, this case is available for iPhone and iPhone Plus 6, 6S, 7, and 8, and Samsung S6, S6 Edge, and S7. If bats just aren’t your thing, there’s also the Unicorn Brew and Love Potion cases.
Rogue + Wolf’s gorgeous screenprint illustrations feature heavily in their fashion collections, but they’re also available in a series of A3 prints. Grace your walls with these occult pieces, and feel inspired to make a little magic when you’re at home.
