Channeling the Cosmos: Ultra Violet Makeup for 2018

Share this:

“Complex and contemplative, Ultra Violet suggests the mysteries of the cosmos, the intrigue of what lies ahead, and the discoveries beyond where we are now. The vast and limitless night sky is symbolic of what is possible and continues to inspire the desire to pursue a world beyond our own.” — Pantone, recently announcing that its Color of the Year for 2018 is Ultra Violet (18-3838). And what a color it is! After a decade that included mostly warm colors and a year that gave us two pastel co-COTYs, mythical and magical Ultra Violet is a very welcome change from the mundane to the arcane.

Pantone goes on to say that, “Enigmatic purples have also long been symbolic of counterculture, unconventionality, and artistic brilliance.” That’s why we love them, isn’t it? Scroll down for some of the best Ultra Violet colored makeup that you can get right now.
